Horse are never meant to be still

Idea from a long long time ago:

I always think that when you truly complete a piece of art, you had just commit murder on something,
something much,much more...

We were studying Renaissance's Equestrian Statue in art history class. Of course, our study puts more emphasis on the struggle of sculptors to keep the horses at same time flying and "rooted to earth"... glorious fighters, riding to battles under the command of triumphant heroes.

Nevertheless, what I remember the most is Leonardo's uncompleted horse sketches and this story of a sculptor who destroyed his own most accomplished horse statue and then himself, because he could not surpass the "absolute perfection".

Random Thoughts:

Just thinking that it will be a good idea of start writing something in the middle of the page and then filling the blank ...wherever they look most fitting.

Per example, the TITLE of a new post.

Note to self:
Blogger looks more likable when you STOP TWISTING HTML and worry about the final appearance of every single, simple new post.
Really, did you forgot that you just jump from pictures to pictures to video in most of blogs you really like.
then again, most of them are "tumbler", but try to tune down your OCD a bit

Ideas, don't you get tired of them sometimes?

LOL, I am point-formating my post.

 Random Thought:
I REALLY WANT TO KNOW: do you ever get TSUNAMI-like SURGE  of IDEAS in your minds?

or it is just me ?

like it is just everything around you just suddenly become a bit more meaningful/beautiful/significant(like you are looking at them for the very first time) and when it passes, it leaves wreckage behind because all those things, they just left you.

Life Update:
I recently install the blogger plug-in into my browser so I can actually look at my blog when I am writing a new post. Really, Blogger's native "new post" web page just got to be the most "uninspiring and idea-killing" thing ever made on earth and I guess I just find out why I got so discouraged of shouting out those million bits of little thoughts flying through my brain on the web.

For a moment, I thought of programming this thing on my own, guess somebody just got faster finger... and after all, I think "blog this" has bit of different purpose than what I was thinking about: it just ends up giving the same result.

p.s it is still pretty shitty: when you actually save the post as a draft, it goes back to the dashboard page. guess there is still development potential

Back to the point, I had the pleasure of going to this software engineering student-corporate conference, CUSEC, for that last 3 days and really got inspired all the startup projects, personal projects, tutorials and basically everything organized by this group of amazing team of Concordia students, teachers and people who are really passionate about... being on the front edge of technologies , making ideas tangible.

I think I just really need this, need to get away from this straight path of , this mentality of "get into internship" that stressful University life has set me on. I need to get know the people who are behind the ideas, the "final product" ; I needed to know again that I can do this, and possibly better.

Then again, as a U2 student, life sometime just seems very suffocating.

Random stumbleUpon: lol I am posting a lot.

sketches....

Just finished with my bio. and microbio. midterms. Doing some
random sketches and realize that not being able to draw for 2  months
because of the start of school has a huge impact on my drawing skills.
It also makes me extra grumpy as if everyday is freaking raining(not that it isn't).
Why is it that I just concentrate better in bio class when I have something to draw on hand? memorization by association?
